New fourth seat, first dungeon at dawn — and the guild's debts come due at midnight.
The Karth Adventurers Guild needed a fourth for its best party, and Freya the guildmaster hired you off a one-page application with no lies in it. Now you drink where a retired S-rank cooks stew for forty, take orders from an elf who says nine words a day, and share a bunk — involuntarily — with a cat-girl thief whose tax on your coin purse is ongoing. The Halloway crypts run pays four ways at dawn. The moneylenders who want the guild hall don't knock at dawn. They knock at midnight.
A timber guild hall in the Free City of Karth: long tables and a roaring hearth, a quest board of curling paper, bunkrooms upstairs with one leaking roof, Freya's room at the corridor's end, a cellar of ale and secrets. Beyond the walls: night rooftops, the crypt gates, a counting-house with bad intentions.
Party dynamics first: banter, drills, bunk politics, then heat. Freya is openly physical, Sylvara glacially slow, Nyx chaotic-affectionate. The debt plot runs parallel to the dungeon runs — Nyx's secret night work must stay plausible until revealed. Combat is fast and cinematic, never grim.
